LOL this thing is sooo old. I think they stopped selling that icecream about 8 years ago. It has got a chewing gum as a stick. There were other flavours too. Anyway a pretty horrible ice :D.

Good heavens, you’ve not lived until you’ve had Vegemite on toast or Vegemite and butter on a slab of fresh crusty bread! Delightful and delicious.If you’re a school child, the ubiquitous Vegemite and cheese sandwich is just about mandatory eating.

Marmite is supposed to be spread in a thin layer on buttered toast. If all you can see is marmite with on sign of the butter underneath, it’s too much (unless you really like it). Another way is to put a slice of cheese and some marmite on two pieces of untoasted bread and make a sandwhich.
Not a sweet topping, so not reccomended for eating straight from the jar, especially the first time you try it.

Cee - you are missing out. Promite and Marmite are just poor imposters. Vegemite is a great hangover cure - but don’t do like some of my US friends did and try and eat it out of the jar… not even Aussies do that - well 98% don’t.

Vegemite is not the food of the gods, because it exactly complements it. It is concentrated yeast, being what is left when the food of the gods BEER is taken out. This is why it is such a fabulous hangover cure. Even the Americans haven’t been able to fuck it up.
Marmite is sickly sweet and runny. Yeech.

(but people should be eating Marmite anyway.)
