And while a plastic statue of Apollo may seem ridiculous, we modern Pagans have to do the best we can with what's available today .... but some of us are just plain silly. ... I'd rather they took the time to make their own statue rather than resort to using something so easily mocked as plastic. But not every small band of religious outsiders is blessed with their own quotient of artistic types. (Unfortunately, there seems to be a direct correlation between the level of silliness and the level of public/press attention a group acchieves) Well, of course Bacchus is real!
