Thanks for the kind words everyone...but N.I.'s rudeness didn't bother me much. I know my writing is amateurish--I'm not a writer! I know alot of it is trite--my hometown is trite, which is why I wanted it far behind me asap.

Some people have an interest in the commonplace as well as the unusual. I know I do. It helps me identify my barriers....so I can push through them if I want. If you're beyond that already, good for you. Really. But please don't be an asshole here to those of us who aren't.

Adora [I think he means Not Impressed] knows nothing!
There is a naive intimacy in the posting and it addresses many people's fantasies about how it would be to meet your schooldays girlfriend/boyfriend. Why else do sites like Friends Reunited exist?

I keep looking to see if my first is posting *sigh*

I like the comment when a girl disappeared after taking a call. They were so upset, so pissed off; never was a mention made of actually being worried about what had happened to the girl in question. They were only angry that she hadn't made the rest of her calls, therefore costing them money...I want to work for them, please.

I *love* the fact that this is raw, unsullied by over-editing and true! I'm telling you... my blood pressure is up a couple of notches - hurry back with more ;)

I've personally enjoyed it. While I can see where it could be called "amaturish", but like adora said, it being true gives it a lovely twist. Also, it is way better then I could'v e wrote it. Loved it Aphrodite, waiting for more.
