Agreed, totally true. The nonsense advice of "It's the personality what counts" is pure BS. Yes, it's important, if you can't stand 5 minutes with the person it won't have much future even if both want to jump each other's bones at the drop of a hat, but if you don't feel even a tingle when you're with that person it's just the same. I discovered that the hard way, hurting somebody who didn't deserve it in the process, been A LOT more careful of being sure there's chemistry since then.

And it's quite a lot more fun this way anyway ;)

Oh god yes. It's something chemical. If I don't respond physically to someone's scent, I know it's not going to be the real deal.

The most intense sexual connection I've ever had with someone started with a moment where I realized I'd never in my life met anyone who smelled as good.

I totally agree, for I may be one of those clumsy guys - but I wait for the chemistry!

It's totally true. If I'm with a guy (or girl, for that matter), and there's no chemistry between the two of us, forget it - I'm not going to end up in bed with them. On the other hand, if they're able to look at me from across the table and make me so wet I slide across the seat, then I'm gonna find a way to get them into bed, dammit. That's just the way it is. I don't know whether it's smell, or an action, or a look, or the attitude, but whatever it is, it's something serious - and some people got it, and others don't. ~M
