I basically agree with the 4x sinboy-type comments above.

I would be equally offended of a person taking candid, unasked for photos of me in a supermarket, as I would be at a naked beach. Unfortunately, one cannot do much about security cameras and the like. Apart from these, someone taking pictures AND hanging about is just as likely to get me asking questions in their face such as 'WHY?' in either location.

If it's a creepy (guy) in the background, at the nude beach, I find I just ignore them like the security cameras (however, I find them as irritating and desirous to avoid). I believe it's important for us who know what our bodies look like, to be congniscent no photograph will show us anything we haven't already seen. I have managed a life where being seen naked does not change anything though.

Bonghunter ... people can take pictures of me in a grocery store if they really feel the need to, but if they're training the camera on my ass or breasts, I'd certainly take offense.

Attending a nude beach has the freedom of entails the freedom of going without clothing, but it also includes the freedom from being sexualized if you don't welcome it, especially since some people who go particularly emphasize the desexualization of nudity.

Bonghunter... please don't get confused. Demanding courtesy and respect from fellow human beings is not limiting the freedom of others. Going to a nude beach welcomes people to look at you; that does not include taking candid &/or unwelcome photos of you and showing them to all the world. If I walk my dog in public, people may look at the dog, but not take the leash and walk away with it.

I'm confused. Nude beaches are at least semi-public places. Would you get angry and demand the film if someone took a picture (with you in it) at, say, the grocery store? I thought part of the allure of going to a nude beach was the freedom to go au natural, and to see others and be seen in that state. If so, what possible objection to having your picture snapped? You want the freedom to dress as you please but you want to limit another's freedom to use his/her camera as they please.

It's the same old song, "I want to be free but I can only be free if I can limit the freedom of others.

People who sneak nude shots seem to be cowards. The two times I've had that conversation, they've handed over the film, and left without saying a word.

i agree with sinboy. i like the photo. i feel for the girl wit the sunburns but i think the girl on the left is checking for a tan line. however if i saw someone just taking candid shots at a nude beach there would be no asking for the film. there would be no conversing involved.

An interesting photo, but people who go to nude beaches and take secret photos of people in order to post them online are creeps.

If the photo was taken with permission, fine. But when I've been out at a nude beach and noticed people taking pictured, I've made it a point to ask that person to either delete the entire card, take out the film and hand the roll over, and leave the beach.
