Also, the 'older' woman has painted nails while the 'younger' girl doesn't. Pretty unusual for that time, too. May I suggest if they are related, that they are in fact sisters? Explains the matching shoes - topical of sisters, actually. My call is that it isn't a mum'n'daughter snap. Okay - this may be too assumptive;
