The Swedish adult entertainment giant Private used to constantly feature beautiful smiles in the 80s and early 90s. Regrettably, they started hiring more Americans in the 90s and later, and started featuring models with the same pouty/pissy expressions as the rest of porn.

As for the lace…it might have been the influence of Italian porn starlet/senator Cicciolina, who usually dressed in lace frillies.
