Graffiti is amazingly hierarchical, despite the anarchist sympathies you might expect. Those who do 'proper' graffiti look down on the stencillers, and <em>everyone</em> looks down on the taggers. Scribbling a tag on someone else's piece is just plain rude. If you think graffiti artists don't mind having their work scribbled on, you might find wandering around some of the online communities pretty amusing. P.S.
