Oh, it was. Having never tried a regular-battery-powered vibrator, I can't make any quantitative comparison, but this thing is strong. I definitely didn't want something with a cord--when you live in a dorm room, you really don't want a sex toy plugged in in the middle of the room. So I chose the Sinnflut, and it really does go. Plenty of power there, and no cord. Fantastic! It certainly is an investment, they don't come cheaply. But honestly, I'd rather just save up for something really good and spend my money well than get something that I'm not really satisfied with and needs new batteries all the time. She had very soft skin. I'm saving up for a decent high-powered vibe.
