Context is everything. Maybe the point wasn’t so much to enslave her as to pop her head off. Do we see her with it on inside the comic? Or does THE ANGEL rescue her before the collar closes? Tune in next week…!?

Who knows why four-armed alien brutes take slaves? For that matter, why did evil villains in that area always tie perfectly serviceable young women to railroad tracks? I'm not a comics book guy, I don't understand these things.
