Hmmm I always thought that it was an add for a viagra-type pill. Darn, I'm disappointed that the company and product turned out to be so nefarious.

Fascinating to hear that the actual product lists some active ingredients -- the ads I saw were always very careful not to do so.

Some of those herbs do have a modest reputation for at least a bit of efficacy.

I just have to point ya to the blog I edit for the Intl Soc of Indiv Liberty, Medical Freedom Channel, where I posted an editorial on this basic issue a while back:

ED is for everybody … or is it?

http://www.isil.org/channels/archives/12431

IN it, I included an analysis of Enzyte, which I tried with some limited success (it wasn't about increasing size or girth, which has never been an issue ... it was about regaining and maintaining rigidity, without resorting to the bodily poisons being perpetrated upon us by Big Pharma), before seeking out some of its listed ingredients at Whole Foods, et alia ...

(update: the issue is no longer an issue, at ALL!)

I could swear I’ve seen that banned ad on television before. It made me wonder if Enzyte is supposed to cure erectile dysfunction or stimulate genital growth. Most of the other commercials were much clearer on that point.

I also find it quite humorous that this stuff is sold in Wal-mart.

I thought their commercials were creepy. Except for the <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=mS9xwV2qaBg" rel="nofollow">"banned" one</a>, which still never fails to crack me up.

If a guy thinks something will work, it just might. As long as the product is inert (harmless) it may be better in the long run than "real" drugs.

"Ethical" drugs as pushed on every newscast by the major drug companies, aren't necessarily as magical as claimed. Recently, for example, studies have shown the most expensive statin drugs, while lowering LDL, really add no years to lives. (Negative side effects offset any benefits)

In the end, excepting the "continuity program (credit card fraud), Teegarden doesn't seem worse to me than the big drug companies whose ads aren't nearly as much fun.

Teegarden is hoot! Dream witness. Except for the 'former'.
No cease and desist orders, I saw ads on G4 last night and night before last. I like the Mrs. in the 'mercials, myself.

The stuff is still being sold. Saw a cable-tv ad the other day and it is still on the shelf at the local Walmart.
