i watch very little televison, but the couple times i’ve caught House impressed the hell out of me. Unapologetic and irreverent.

I have only seen a couple episodes myself, so I’ve missed whatever backstory is supposed to make him a sympathetic character. Thus to me he’s just an asshole, albeit a competent and often entertaining one. But he seems to be at his best, entertainment-wise, when he’s being mean to people for no obvious reason.
Love that show. Love that quote.
