The Arlene Hunter film was the source for SF artist Bruce Conner’s 1973 film ‘Marilyn X 5″, which isolates tiny clips from the Hunter stag movie to a soundtrack of Marilyn Monroe singing “I’m Through With Love” 5 times. Conner’s edit makes the cheesy stag movie gestures with the apple & coke bottle humane, beautiful, and sad. I saw it in a theater in the late 1980s–unfortunately Conner’s films are not generally available in DVD format–& was kind of stunned by the pathos instilled by the repetitions of Arlene’s movements & the song. Unforgettable almost 20 years later.

I searched Marilyn Monroe on youporn.com, the movie from which the stills are taken is there on the site, at least till yesterday, 16 April. The lady is heavier built and hairier than Norma Jean Baker, but it could have been made in her struggling days.

Tthe woman in the movie, apart from the blonde hair, doesn’t appear to look like MM at all.

Actually, looking at the last pic, Bacchus, I can’t remember Marilyn having a cleft in her chin.
But it wouldn’t surprise me to know there’s some MM porn out there. She DID pose for cheesecake photos, and we’ve all heard stories of “I can get you into pictures, kid.” Wouldn’t surprise me to find out someone DID manage to get porn out MM.

For what it’s worth, over the years, the second film (not the ‘Apple’ one) has been declared as possibly real by Flynt, definitely real by Guccione (Sr.), and a “maybe” by Celebrity Sleuth. Granted, all of those publications have vested interests in selling magazines, BUT — Celebrity Sleuth has a fantastic track record when it comes to matching up vintage nudes with later-known actresses. (The Lucille Ball photo comes to mind.)

Just my personal opinion, but to me, those stills look a bit larger in the waist, and smaller in the buttocks, than what we are used to seeing as being Marilyn (She was an avid jogger, and believed in exercizing). But then, her weight may have changed throughout her adult life…

To me, the breasts on these stills look a good bit fuller than the Bert Stern 1962 “Last Sitting” nude photos, as well as the early 1949 Tom Kelly nudes. Marilyn’s widow’s peak seemed a bit more prominent than the above photos indicate, and that prominent cleft (in the chin in the bottom still), doesn’t look like Marilyn to me. Marilyn’s nose didn’t seem quite that long, but then angle and make-up figure into the equation as well.

I’ve looked at some of the other photos on the net, and the eyebrow arch is in a different part of the brows, but then, that can be changed as well.

Make-up style and hair styles of the era make many blondes look like Marilyn. People still confuse Jayne Mansfield and Mamie van Doren for Marilyn to this day.

The key to this would be the ears if we can get a good shot of them. They’re said to be as individual as fingerprints…
