Due to global warming, a surprising amount of preserved ivory is sufacing on the ice of the frozen tundra in places like Siberia. Being as no elephants are harmed in collecting it, there is no law banning it's trafficking. But then, being as ivory is somewhat porous and grainy like wood, it could be merely elephant ivory that has become... um... 'stained'... in the open grain... Note to Rikibeth:
