For the Japanese, there is no Man-in-the-Moon but rather a Rabbit-in-the-Moon pounding glutinous rice rice to make Mochi rice cakes...So the moon is not made stinky cheese but by bunny pounding its massive "stuff." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_rabbit Those bunnies are literally pounding their stuff.
