Lee, the thing is, it isn't about age any more. With my ninety-year-old aunt, it's about age; but these days, the tech waves are coming faster and faster -- you can be young and behind the times with astonishing ease.

It boils down to discernment, really. Ninety percent (or more) of techy inventions are faddish crap, and I've been well served by ignoring them. Sometimes one catches my interest (cf 3D Kink) but usually I can just ignore it and it will go away.

Problem is, sometimes it doesn't go away, and then the question is, am I flexible enough to reconsider and figure out why not? Maybe yes, maybe no, I'm still waiting for YouTube to go away and I'm pretty sure that boat will never sail.

AAG, that's exactly what got me moving -- the belated realization that the tools I long found adequate aren't getting it done because too many other people have moved on to a new platform for their "attention management and distribution".

However, I am still holding out on Facebook, MySpace, and all those. Among other things, they don't seem to have adult-friendly TOS. Twitter, at least judging from their published rules, doesn't seem to care.

I felt the same way about Facebook. I still hate that site but have caved under the crushing inevitability of it.

Now following you on Twitter. Welcome to the club!

I've tweeted many things in the past wishing that you were around to read them. Sure I could have sent an email, but...you know.

It's an excellent way to keep up with the good/bad/ugly in the sexy-blogging world. I'm glad you're there!
