A Panasonic Panabrator version 1 is the gold standard. It took me 2 years to find another on eBay, and I stalked that sucker so hard. Version 2 is too big and later versions have that flaw plus others. Version 1. My plastic husband of 25 years that eventually developed a short. And now I have another. It should last the rest of my life. :) Hitachi is only the silver standard.

This is an area in dire need of empirical investigation, as sex therapists have been prescribing vibrators for sexual dysfunction for a number of years yet have no basis for recommending one vs. the other, and the only thing consumers have to go on is word-of-mouth and review (mostly by other consumers).
