At last something good in the paper!
I find myself trying to read the paper…
There once was a girl from St. Paul
Who wore a newspaper dress to a ball.
But the dress caught on fire
And burned her entire
Front page, sporting section, and all.
Thank god I’m not the only one…. I thought something was seriously wrong there for a minute!
(Note to RC) If you’re a limerick lover, here’s an alternate one I worked up for you:
A swimdress was spied on the beach,
made of paper, that didn’t quite reach
from her shoulders to knees
but it did, if you please,
sufficiently cover her peach.
