Reminds me of an apartment building my wife and I lived in as a young married couple.
The couple upstairs loved to really bang away at all hours. And their bed was really squeaky. Forty years later I can still get my wife to laugh by mimicking that squeak.
Could be a loud rendition of Girls just wanna have fun. People have sex, it’s not like it’s all the time, regardless of how it feels in the moment.
There was a case in the news recently where one couple was the subject of regular noise complaints from the neighbors because of the Loud and Long sex they had (30 mins to over an hour at a time). The man said he was worried that the woman was going to kill him with over-exertion.
Some buildings are just too old/creaky, other times people could make things better by having stronger furniture and putting in good padding. I love me some sexy time, but I also try and make sure my bed is strongly put together and doesn’t make too much noise. For one thing it can ruin the moment.
I live in an apartment that doesn’t have soundproofing between the bedrooms. Having been repeatedly awakened in the middle of the night by my (former) neighbor’s and his girlfriend’s sex noises (that were louder than the white noise machine I used to block them out), I have some sympathy for the guy in the picture. I’m all for people having fun, but not at the expense of my sleep. Anyway, after I casually mentioned to him how I knew his girlfriend was a screamer, they started keeping it down.
