I clicked on your link to find only the second use of the word boborygmus that I’ve ever come across. The other being from a Firesign Theatre routine (“Do you suffer from flushing, blushing, running of the mouth, high stool, seat cramps, shortness of pants, or delayed borborygmus?”)
And Google experiences a worrying surge in searches for the word “boborygmus.”
Firkytoodle is the word for me.
