I found this excellent illustration of the Kinsey Scale floating around on Twitter without attribution. So I did a little research. Turns out the artist is Michael DiMotta, and if you like it, you can buy prints!

I notice the smiles get bigger as the homosexual quotient increases.
What a hoot!
In my high school, we only had one out of the closet homosexual male. The locker room during extracurricular athletic activities was packed with closeted individuals who fell to the right hand side of the chart, but were usually far too closeted to fit the absurd illustrations. Only gay men who wished to advertise their preferences would ever fit those stereotypes. You can’t really KNOW anything (via outward appearances), about what goes behind closed doors, unless you’re on the same side of the door.
