Start with your Latin roots! “Checca” is Italian slang for a gay man, roughly equal to ‘fag’ (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/checca), so ‘La Clinica Antichecca’ is basically a conversion-therapy clinic.

Well, if it’s a shared room he ‘might’ be staring at another hot naked man on another bed who’s likewise naked, the good old ambiguous expression leaves the audience guessing. Although the direction of his eyes Does seem to imply his attention is on the ‘nurse’. The lady in blue seems unhappy that the Nurse has apparently called dibs on someone she’d picked out for her own personal ministrations.
