A Good Reason Not To Shoot
If I correctly apprehend this 1920 French cartoon, the naked lady is pleading with her husband not to shoot the man he just found in their bed. Why not? Because said man is the father of their five children!

You’re killing the joke. The cartoon bears the title “A Good Reason”. What the naked lady says is literally: “Don’t kill him! He’s the father of your five children!”
