Wrought Iron, Timbers, Entrapped Beauty
I was slow to notice that the folks at Kink.com (for whom I have enormous respect) released a new bondage site this month, which looks incredibly rich in texture. Just wanted to echo that insex did do phenomenal and frequent live feeds–a couple of them lasting 24 or more hours (and yes, allowing the girl to sleep….some.)

Just an FYI: It isn’t the rust that causes tetanus, it is a very common anaerobic bacteria that produces a toxin that causes tetanus. The bacteria is found just about everywhere, including dirt, so a clean nail will introduce just as much bacteria as a rusty nail(or even a stick.) The bacteria causes problems when it creates a thin, deep wound (like stepping on a nail) that introduces the tetanus bacteria deep into the tissue. The skin at the outside heals more quickly than the inside tissue, creating an oxygen-free (and therefore ideal) environment for the tetanus bacteria. The bacteria go nuts and produce the toxin that causes your muscles to seize in a condition called “Lockjaw.”

Actually I doubt if it’s wrought iron OR rusted. The folks at Kink take very good care of their models, and I believe what you’re looking at is likely an old solid brass speculum from before they used plastic, or even stainless steel (which was once difficult to form or machine). If you enlarge and study the photo, you can see what may well be brass or bronze.
Their prop department probably cooked it in charcoal and then boiled it (or sterilized it in an autoclave). Brass doesn’t rust (hence no pitted scale surface which might harbor germs), which is probably why it was the preferred material for such a purpose in antiquity. It looks nasty (which I’m pretty sure is the effect they were going for), but it’s probably cleaner than the silverware at your favorite restaurant.
I kinda like your fantasy that it’s rusty though… ;^)
