This is a cover from one of the Bondage House adult paperbacks from seventies or early eighties. I have a whole collection of these covers in my computer files, and if I ever find someone who can design a website for me, I’ll be able to post them.
I’d like to show this illustration to my yoga teacher, but he might start wondering about me in the wrong direction. There seems to be an anatomical anomaly or impossibility here. Why the black ball, the wooden crate, the sunglasses? The underwear is the cruellest blow of all (to the viewer). Beautifully done, for a sick mind (if there is such a thing).
At first, I thought this was one of those limited-edition commemorative plates– the kind that usually have bunnies, butterflies or Jesus on them. I am a little disappointed that it’s not.
