For those whose curiousity about piquerism has been …er… “piqued”, the artist Carlo (mentioned in the link), is sometimes mistakenly thought to be “Carlos” due to a tilde-like flourish employed at the end of his signature. His real name however is believed to be Charles Hénaut according to Dr. Geiger at this site:
