omg, i just watched “Cleopatra” with Dick and LIz last night, first time. All five hours. What a BOOB and SANDALS epic it is.

Good thing about a sword you can grab and hold at the blade: It’s fine to use in the nude, even for the unskilled swordsman.
Peplums are great fun. No cardboard costumes and tinfoil sets can deter me from enjoying the exploits of assorted handsome heroes.
The only aspect which bores me to tears are the constant madonna-whore dichotomies in the female characters. Maybe some day film makers will create a new generation of sword-and-sandal films without that flaw in the scripts?
