Wikipedia says “Reynolds gained notoriety when he posed naked in the April [1972] (Vol. 172, No. 4) issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine.” People who like this would presumably like that even more.
Yes, but the Cosmopolitan picture is pretty widely known – it’s the third and fifth match for a Google Image search for Burt Reynolds with safe search on and the first and second result with safe search off.
I hadn’t seen the above picture before, although it does also come up a bit further down the page in GIS.

Burt Reynolds’ public persona was extremely sexy back then (70s, 80s)–I would have loved to have gotten a piece of his ass then. He gave the impression, notable in the picture above, that he would do anything you wanted sexually and that includes men and women both according to rumors. I wouldn’t have minded taking a ping pong paddle to his ass while dressed in nice, tight jeans and cowboy boots with his shirt wide open to the navel–would have given those nips a good going over with some tongue too.
