Something about the head scarf and veil makes this image more interesting than pure nudity would be.

I suspect it’s protection from tear gas, not a head scarf and veil.
Well, it objectively is a head scarf and veil, there’s no getting around that fact. But that’s as good a guess about the reason for ’em as any.
