I think that this could actually be a subtle piece of political propoganda. During the Revolución mexicana the republican forces, of which Pancho Villa was a member, engaged in what we would now call black ops by producing Pornography with featured Priests and nuns deflowering and corrupting the innocent and each other ( the catholic church being firmly anti revolutionary). By showing these “authority figures” in a state of coitus, the revolutionaries hoped to demistify them and make them laughable (and enertain the troops for who these blue movies were made)
I half expect him to break into chorus any minute singing:
