   Let me jump in here first and remind everyone that, although I sometimes post items with both sexual and political content, political discussion is most emphatically not welcome here. And especially unwelcome is any mention of candidates or political figures by name. Lots of other blogs available for that — perhaps yours?

   This Is Not A Political Comment – I am merely curious.
   What is the context for that pic of Bush? Is he at a farmer’s market? it looks like he’s trying to make a Very Important Point and is gesticulating with the ear of corn for emphasis.

   I’m afraid I don’t know — but I imagine you are right. These days there’s a whole industry of photographers devoted to the craft of snapping pics of celebrities who are not looking their best.

   This isn’t a political comment, and I hope it doesn’t annoy our host, but is there a bite take out of that corn? Don’t people usually cook corn before eating it?

   If one were to take the two pictures in sequence, and add in Risx’ comment, one could speak of bush-eating corn….

   The pic was taken while the Pres was in Iowa (Davenport, I believe)…he did take a couple bites of the raw corn.

   I’ve eaten plenty of corn straight off the cob in the field in my time. Sure, it’s a bit starchy, but it’s a bit sweeter, too.
