The Burden Of Huge Boobs

I will never forget my sense of horror, the first time I became aware that breast reduction surgery is a real thing and that some women voluntarily go under the knife to have it done. I was a much younger man, back then, and manifestly a worst feminist. Not only did I lack empathy for the literal burden that overlarge (as determined by their bearers) tits can impose, but I was in those days chock full of that flavor of sexist nonsense that let me view a net reduction in female breast size as somehow a loss to mankind. There are bullshit notions of collective patriarchal ownership built into that view of the world that can’t survive even the most casual inspection, and I’m not proud to admit I was tainted with them. But I am a man, and I was younger, more stupid, and much less educated. I got better?

I was reminded of those days not long ago, when I was going through some old Dolly comics by Spanish artist Blas Gallego. His Dolly character goes through the world with (literally) cartoonishly huge boobs, which she mostly enjoys, even as they cause her no end of comical adventures and trouble. Despite the trouble they cause her, Dolly would never reduce her ridiculous breasts. On the contrary, she revels in them, and she literally basks in the male attention she gets because of them.

Luckily for people like my younger self, there are plenty of not-cartoon women who take pleasure in the attention their big breasts bring them. And even a fair few who are willing to turn those big hooters to profitable purposes! Big breast fans are lucky that there remain lots and lots of models, porn stars, and hard-working cams performers like HugeBoobsErin who are willing to bear the literal burden of big tits as well as the intensity of male-gaze attention that never goes away. We are not entitled to this bounty, as my younger self blithely assumed; and in fact, the general mass of men are, from what I can gather, pretty generally a collective pain in the ass toward women with big breasts. Tip your well-endowed camgirls heavily, guys, and pay for your big-titty porn if you know what’s good for you!

Dolly, of course, is a cartoon, which means it’s harmless to ogle her ridiculous charms, and less is demanded in the way of empathy for the difficulties they cause her. But that only goes so far, gentlemen.
