Well, A Double Dumbass On You!
You’d be surprised at the amount of completely contextless drive-by abuse people try to leave in the ErosBlog comments. I delete these things so you don’t have to see ’em, and that’s why first time commenters go into moderation by default. Normally the garbage comments are just boring, but sometimes they make me laugh. As in the case of this bizarre complaint about this post:

Ah, sir, perhaps you meant “douchebags”? All three times your attempted comment was thwarted by automatic moderation?

Ah, the joys of the Internet’s ability to provide idiots, er, people the opportunity to voice their opinions through anonymous posts and without repercussion. Well, other than not having them posted at all!
You know what I really love about this? The “I didn’t personally like this, therefore you are a bad/ stupid/ incompetent person for putting it on your blog” trope. A depressingly common one, alas.
Bacchus, didn’t you know that it’s your job to carefully screen everything you put on your blog to make sure that every single person who reads it enjoys every single piece of it?
Sheesh.
I’m not sure which photo is being referenced by our dear reader, but knowing a bit about your blog, it likely was an erotic photo, in which some aspect of the human form is artistically portrayed; no face necessary. This furthers my argument that, while porn can appeal to any idiot, it takes some intelligence to appreciate erotica. I can’t even begin to discuss the lack of spelling, punctuation, grammar – the Net is breeding idiots by the bushel….
Paul, the photo is linked above. The lady’s face is in hard shadow and has some hair in front of it, but is moderately visible nonetheless. (Perhaps not if your monitor brightness is low.)
Maybe the guy has a bukkake fetish and can’t wank unless he’s got a face to imagine spooging on? Really I have no idea.
BTW I don’t think the net breeds idiots so much as it lets them reach out and touch the rest of us when we are least expecting it. Fortunately the net provides the same service to all sorts of wonderful people (including my beloved ErosBlog readers!) so it’s a huge net gain despite the frequent “double dumbass” moments.
Thanks for protecting us from the useless braying and drive-by grammar errors. It raises this site to a higher level of achievement. And it makes my time on the site more enjoyable because the quality comments and thought provoking observations remain. Cheers.
