There’s a nice profile on Alternet of Betty Dodson, who at the age of 85 is once again teaching masturbation masterclasses out of her New York City apartment. Dodson, who is perhaps most famous for her 1975 masturbation manual “Sex For One”, says her continuing zest for life can be attributed to “masturbation, pot and raw garlic.” And the best sex of her life?
It was in her 70s when she was “training” a twentysomething called Eric. After 10 years she decided to let him go. “You have to let the young ones go. You don’t want to be Hugh Hefner.”
