The Lobster Ate My Dinner Party
I’m going to say there is a reason that turkey replaced giant lobsters as the go-to centerpiece at fine holiday dinner parties. You see, this started out as a dinner for twelve, before the sea monster went on a guest-eating rampage and devoured half the party:

It is high time someone wrote a cookbook for those of us who wish to serve mankind.

At one time, lobster was the food of the poorest fisher families and coastal-dwellers along the coast of Maine. It is, after all, just a bug that scavenges along the bottom of the ocean floor. My how times have changed!
