The Nymph In My Net: Six Wonderful Months
Although it has turned out that I mostly prefer to focus this blog on the activities of other people, it is worth noting that it’s been six very happy months at Casa ErosBlog since The Nymph moved in with me. We remain deeply in love, and life together is very very good.
An aside for the gentlemen: It is true that no sensible woman expects you to remember or celebrate six month “anniversaries”. However, from this truth, it most emphatically does not follow that you should disregard such dates, in the unlikely (but lucky for you) event that your ponderous bear-like brain should happen to alert you to one. Rather, procure and deliver some small trinket. Trust me on this one.

Yay! I’m first to say, “CONGRATS!” I’m really happy for both of you.
But … I do wanna know … are there any Eroslings in your future?
What did you get her?
Congratulations, wishing you both all the best xxx
Good for you. :)
Wait until you get married.
And have to remember a particular date where the two of you did something.
Or have to remember where you were on a particular date.
So load up on lots of trinkets, get up close and personal with your local florist shop.
Believe me on this!
Meaningful trinkets may require more cogitation after two decades of betrothal. She has her ideas, I (of course) have mine… Meanwhile, you have only 19.5 years to catch up with us. You are wished well in the attempt, remembering that is not necessarily the destination, but the route.
Congratulations! And here’s to many more six month “anniversaries”
Congrats on 6 months!
It’s been a wonderful six months! I can’t believe how lucky we are to have found this kind of love!
The fact that he remembered and bought me a trinket to honor the date was sweet and touching – and very much Bacchus. Not that it’s just a “trinket”, it’s something that had significance to me. Which is why I love this man! :)
Congratulations on the happy 6 month mark!
Personally, I just buy Beloved wife a rose every month.
The women at her office are SO jealous :-)
Congratuations! I can hardly believe that I have been reading about her for more than six months. I am so very happy for you both.
Congrats you two!
I just wonder, though: Was the trinket something that involved a product of DeBeers?
And if so, what kind of lecherous advertisement could be made from the results of your gift-giving? ;-)
Rather, procure and deliver some small trinket.
And you actually did it? And took the whole ‘six months’ thing seriously?
I *like* you. :-)
(Just reached 6 months myself – no such trinket based luck!)
No diamond, I wasn’t kidding when I said “trinket”. Just a small carved ivory pendant from a tourist shop, carved in an animal shape she likes. I was going for a silver pendant she had admired twice in a shop window, but alas it sold before I could get to it.
Hugs and congrats!!!! I hope you are both incredibly happy and truly over-sexed!
