Happy In Paradise
This is cover art from Harem Stud by David Lynn, cover copy: “The natives were restless…and shameless!”
Our supposedly downed flyer seems very happy in the company of his friendly Native American rescuers. What caught my eye among the general foolishness of this illustration, however, was the attitude of the crashed airplane in the background. A plane that augers in like that is not typically one the pilot walks away from. So our grinning hero would appear to enjoying his reward in the afterlife.

What plane?
Maybe not the afterlife. It’s a taildragger, and taildraggers can nose-over at (relatively) low speed while on the ground, since they lack a nosewheel to prevent it. This can be caused by landing on a too-soft surface, hitting the brakes too hard, or hitting an obstacle like a rock or big gopher hole.
Is it just me, or does he look like the guy on the Enzyte commercials?
The first thing that caught my attention were the pierced nipples of the native american girl on the left. At least I’d assume they were pierced, though I suppose the beads could be held by some kind of adhesive.
Reminds me of the artist who created the “Indian butter trick” logo.

B.T.W. – Even though he usually denied it in public, his daughter claimed her father did it on purpose…

This is SO P.I., from the “authentic”
costumes to the notion that Indians had
harems.^_^ BTW, Bart Simpson had fun with
the Land O Lakes package a few years back.
I think it’s very possible that he have parachuted out of the plane before the crash. However, he seems abnormally happy – but that might be better explained by finding himself in paradise than by finding himself in paradise.
However, he seems abnormally happy…
