Ellen Page’s Bottom
The Nymph and I went to see Whip It (starring Ellen Page) the day before yesterday, and we pronounced it good.
If there’s anybody out there wondering what her bottom looks like, I must report that it does not appear (unclad) in this movie. However, without giving too much away, I can report that viewers are treated to an extended scene in which her bottom is on athletic display in soaking wet underwear.
Why, yes, yes I do feel like a dirty old man for noticing, thank you for asking!

Ellen Page in wet underoos was quite sexy. I think I prefer her clad to unclad actually. Sexy vs erotic maybe? *shrug*
Speaking of “dirty old men”, I just saw film on cable with an even younger Ellen Page, that makes one wonder if she’s somehow related to Bettie Page…
In this 2005 release (titled “Hard Candy”), she plays a somewhat precocious 14 year old who, invites herself over to a 32 year old man’s house, mixes a drink for him, and when he wakes up from the “Mickey”, he’s tied securely to the furniture.
After a long sweaty (and most of all squicky), castration scene, she asks him for suggestions as to how she should dispose of his now useless testicles. Expressing mock concern over whether or not they might make some poor dog ill (if she were to toss them into the back yard}, there’s a brief burst from the garbage disposal after which she muses, “I guess they, uh, weren’t brass.”…
Just to clarify: The 32-year man is a hebephile involved in the disappearance/murder of Ellen Page’s friend. He thinks he’s picking her up, but it’s an elaborate revenge scheme- and you almost feel sorry for the guy before it’s over.
Note to GvS:
Actually, I think you’re hit on the point of the film.
Viewers reported that it was a roller-coaster ride for them throughout the film, where first you rooted for one, then the other, without being able to decide who the real bad guy was supposed to be.
But I don’t want to spoil the ending…
