Mmmm….finger painting.
For the record (and speaking subjectively…);
Girlfriends who are willing to model for you, is a lot more common than models who are looking to get physical. Not that that doesn’t ever happen as well…
Seriously, this looks like a reflective self portrait.
Interesting in that fact that her face and features are visible, yet the artists are not. It’s in a studio, noting the raw unframed canvas’ on the walls. But I am not sure the colors on his palette add up to the colors in the painting. Perhaps a rendition of a photo taken at an earlier time?
If you click through to the original page, you see that there’s a photo that goes along with the painting. Not sure if the artist created a semi-nude from a clothed shot, or if they represent two different moments in time, but I really like the realistic representation of the woman compared to an overly-idealised one. A real woman, with a real body, who looks to be lots of fun if she invites you to bed.
Thank you Justin!
I’m intrigued by what I read as an assumption by the latest two commenters that the image Bacchus posted is a painting based on the on the image on the linked page. Maybe it’s a Norman Rockwell (or Soviet Socialist Realist) picture-perfect job. I just see two photos.
