This lovely but bizarre piece is called In The Beginning, by artist Norman Lindsay. Funny thing is, it’s not quite the Garden of Eden scene I was taught in Sunday school:

Normally, I’m a big fan of the smaller perky breasts more characteristic of youthful gals, but I’m quite drawn to those ample “water balloons” on the woman who’s lying on her stomach.
I love it when a woman presses her breasts against anything. Particularly so, when the action makes them squish out in the way the artist has so accurately depicted.
That’s probably why so many men adore women in corsets…
Saw the original only a few weeks ago. If you’re ever in Sydney it’s worth taking a drive out to his studio/museum.
