While fixing broken links in the ErosBlog archives the other day, I came across a fascinating detailed snapshot of the state of sex blogging in September of 2003, written by Naomi Darvell in the long-gone-but-very-much-missed erotic web journal Clean Sheets.

I’ve talked about sex blogging history more than once over the years (see here and here), but Naomi’s article offers a suggestion for the very first sex blog that hasn’t come up before in these conversations. She suggests Mouthorgan, which dates all the way back to 1998. But it was offline by 2004, so very little remains of it in the Internet Archives. I remember reading it, but I don’t seem to have ever linked to it “back in the day.”
