			Beware Demanding Internet Hypnotists
Kay has a compelling hypnotic demand:
It’s not clear to me whether the project of the moment is to create a peggable femboy by hypnosis, or to seduce an existing femboy to bend over for pegging. The former, I think, from the deep-voiced off-screen “WTF”, but that’s scant evidence at best.

When did “swirly screen” become the visual signifier of mind control in porn? A kink dot com channel used that once.
Oooh, a long, long, LONG time ago, long before modern porn, I should think. In the era of stage magic shows and vaudevillians, hypnosis performances were their own thing. As a parlor trick the stereotype was a swinging gold watch, but something larger and more dramatic was needed up on stage and visible from many angles to a theater audience. It may have been already trope by the time television came along? I don’t have handy links but I know this trope was all over the colorful kid’s comic books of the 1950s that I was reading in the 1970s when I was little. The earliest movie reference I can find with quick Googling is 1958, but it looks like the trope was firmly established because the movie marketing schtick is threatening to hypnotize the viewer with the spiral, so.
