Sadly the idea that its easy to make meaningful amounts of money from online entertainment is the most fantasic part of this video

Oh, don’t be sour, Vagans. Every time I pick up an escapist novel I’m called upon to willingly suspend my disbelief about something in order to enjoy the story; it’s one of the essential duties of a fiction reader. Likewise when watching humor video shorts! And anyway, how certain are you that Tova and Zar aren’t making meaningful amounts of money from online entertainment right now? (Albeit, perhaps not so easily or in the obviously predictable way.)

Tova and Zar help keep me sane in this incredibly wild world!

A lot of young people seem to have misleading ideas about the life of an online content creator, and I think its because many of the creators (especially on video platforms) sell the glamour and don’t mention that you have to be lucky or connected to make what you would earn at an entry-level job from longer hours. I hope these TikTok stars are frank about the challenges elsewhere.

Vagans I think you are underweighting the value of incredibly hard work here. Obviously luck and connections are great too.
