This cartoon from the March 1973 issue of Oui magazine puts the exhaustion in “exhaustive sex education”. She’s got a sexual positions chart and she doesn’t plan to let him rest until they work through all twelve positions on it:

The uncropped artwork is signed Hoviv (for French cartoonist René Hovivian) and further features an ashtray full of cigarette butts. It’s easy to forget that people used to smoke every damned where. Surely this wasn’t good for our exhausted hero’s sexual stamina or for his erectile performance!
