They ask for equal dignity under the law.  The Constitution grants them that right.  It is so ordered.

    Still, at least this is another issue we can use to push our Gov into more open policies, hopefully.

    Groups do not have rights; only individuals have rights. To say that rights can be enjoyed by most but not all individuals is abhorrent. We all have the individual right to love how, when, and who we will that is capable of adult consent. I applaud the Supreme Court decision but we should get the state out of the marriage business

    Justin. I hear that Pitcairn island has just adopted same sex marriage.With only 50 inhabitants, none of whome purport to be homosexual, I think they are trying drum up a tourist trade from the Australia and New Zealand gay communities.

    New Zealand legalised Gay Marriage in August of 2013…

    I wonder what Bilbo would think of a bunch of people dressed as Orcs getting a legally binding gay marriage ceremony consecrated in Bag End?
