A Discussion Of Phlebotomy

A thing that happened at The Pervocracy:

A discussion of phlebotomy somehow degenerated into examining Rowdy’s superficial dorsal vein (“yeah, I could get blood from that, but he probably wouldn’t like it”), which degenerated into a more general inspection and contemplation of the male anatomy, which of course degenerated into a double blowjob. As discussions of phlebotomy so often do.

P.S. Degenerated? I understand the impulse behind the word choice, but I’m still fighting the urge to channel Andre The Giant and go “I do not think it means…”

Glittermuff

Look folks, Tumblr is just another fucking platform. It’s just tools. Therefore it is theoretically possible to use the platform with charm and style and grace. It has to be.

Restoring my faith as it was beginning to flag, just now I have been charmed by Muffy’s Insatiable Bordello of Sexual Glitter.

Glitter Muff, as the author styles herself, never seems to fail at amusing and entertaining commentary on the pictures she tumbles. Example:

Sometimes great sex looks a lot like armed robbery.

Grab that fucking body like the sirens are getting louder. Don’t be delicate. There are ten feet between you and the door. Then it’s all yours.

Two Nude Sunbathers

Some things never change.

These are not, I think, two randomly encountered nudes sunbathing on a beach. No photographer is ever so lucky. Nope, this is the usual deal. Two pretty girls, rounded up in Paris with all the usual hassle attendant upon dealing with models, and then conducted to the beach (more hassle!) and carefully arrayed for the delectation of the camera lens:

In this case, I should say, very much worth the effort!

How Do You Want Me To Feel?

This is one of those posts Mistress Matisse makes from time to time that makes me regret her long-ago decision — liberating though it must be — not to host blog comments. I might have contented myself with a “Hell yah!” if she had ’em, but since she doesn’t, I’ll just post a few choice drive-by excerpts over here, and keep right on moving:

The idea that a woman can change how her male partner feels about things annoys me.

I strongly disagree with the idea that a woman should try to redesign the inside of a man’s head. If you want a romance with someone who thinks just like you, date other women. Men are different from us. Really. Their view of the world is neither better or worse than ours, it just — is.

If you tell a man what you wish to have done, he’ll either do it, or else he won’t. But if it’s something both of you can see, then it’s easier to discuss. Telling a man you want him to feel differently is hard to measure, and doing so rarely yields a satisfactory result for anyone, in my experience.

You preach it, sister!

(I don’t know about the rest of you guys, but I have definitely been in the position of confusedly asking a woman “What is it that you want from me?” and getting back the very specific answer “I want you to feel/not feel [description of a mental state]”. Let me tell you, there are no extra points for telling her that her impossible-to-fulfill emotional demands have now filled you with existential despair. “Woman, it’s how I feel, it’s not something I can change like I change my freakin’ pants.” Nope, no points for that answer either.)

Bunny Service

I know people who used to have a key to one or another of the Playboy Clubs, back in their heyday. But they are unanimous in reporting that the bunnies just brought drinks. There was none of this sort of thing going on:

So of course I had to track down the pic. It turns out to be from a modern fashion pic, shot for a publication called L’Officiel Hommes China. In the same spread there’s also a dominant-ish cheerleader shot, just to confuse the people Violet was talking about who got pissed off about the Glee-actors locker room fluffery:

[Interestingly, there is a much better source link for these pictures at a fashion website called Fashionisto, that appears to exist for the sole purpose of reproducing magazine fashion spreads in loving detail. Only trouble is, Fashionisto doesn’t “get” the internet; they seem to have disabled deep linking, by redirecting all internal URLs to their front page. So, fuck ’em.]

A Bondage Fantasy For Her

I suppose I shouldn’t be so cavalier in speculating about who this bondage fantasy is for. I mean, once you had this monster tied down, I’m not entirely sure what you could do with it except pet it and admire it:

In any case, I found it here.

“Is $40 Enough?”

This is a real photograph, taken at the Salt Lake City Airport, by photographer Trent Head:

I can think of no further commentary that would enhance it.
