I get that people have the right to be insulting and aggressive about their public speech. But if they transgress what I see as the bounds of civil discourse whilst exercising their right to free speech, then I have no trouble at all with other people doing the same while mocking them. Two wrongs don’t make a right, but they do make for a more comfortable public space than allowing the first wrong to go unchallenged:
