This erotic sculpture in a classical style appears to be French, but little is known online about it, except that it was on display in the Museum of Sex in Amsterdam in 2006 when this photo was taken by Esther Garcia. I’m sure many of ErosBlog’s readers have been to that museum; perhaps if we’re lucky, some of you will remember and share some of the curatorial information about the piece, that might have been on display with it?

Tentacles Are All The Rage

Just in time for tentacles month over at Erotic Mad Science, I stumbled across these odd things in front of the Williams College Museum of Art, and of course I can stop to pull out my mobile phone and grab a picture.

Hitherto I had been unaware that there was such a thing as hentai sculpture. It has the look of a permanent installation, too.

The Britney Spears Pregnant Rear View

When I posted about the life sized statue of Britney Spears kneeling nude on a bearskin rug and giving birth (hey, aren’t those furs hard to clean?) there was some complaint about the lack of a rear view. With all due respect for pregnancy fetishists, I myself (on grounds of aesthetics) thought it was just as well that no rear view was available.

Well, it never pays to underestimate the power of the internet. Gawker has the unflattering angle you were all looking for. Thanks (I think) to Chris for emailing the link.

2013 update: A commenter points out that Gawker is no longer serving the image in question. Since we’re now buried deep in the archives where nobody will see this who is not looking for it (I hope) I’ll reproduce the photo (thank you, Internet Archive and the Wayback Machine!) that Gawker can’t be bothered to serve any more:
