How To Fuck Up Sexting

Saturday, June 17th, 2017 -- by Bacchus

Bex from Bex Talks Sex has an article on sexting that covers six ways to do it wrong. For instance: lack of enthusiasm!

If you are lucky enough to be receiving nudes that you are excited about, then you damn well better share that excitement with the person sending them. There is nothing more frustrating than a lackluster reception to a fantastic nude. A thumbs up emoji is not an appropriate response to my ass. Seriously. I have an exceptional ass.

That’s us told…

Martha Stewart, Sexting

Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013 -- by Bacchus

Given that we’ve already seen Martha Stewart rocking a stripper pole on her television show, it’s hardly a surprise to learn that (like so many of the rest of us) she’s been known to send an erotic text message.

I do confess, though, that I’m annoyed by the ubiquitous framing of this story around the web that she “admits” or “has admitted” to sexting. It’s like “admitting” to masturbation; it’s common behavior to which no particular stigma attaches among modern people. It’s more of an acknowledgement than an admission, I would think.

Sexting Like It’s 1474

Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 -- by Bacchus

Folks, I keep saying it because it’s true: There is nothing new under the sun. Sexting? Tweeting about your dick? It’s old wine in new bottles, I tell you! Here’s Elector Albrecht of Brandenburg in 1474, who has named his penis “Mini Me” (essentially) and is writing to his wife:

If God vouchsafes me a safe return, I’m going to whip you soundly with young Albert. Young Albert really wants to get big.”

ACLU Versus Child Porn Prosecutor

Friday, March 27th, 2009 -- by Bacchus

A while back I linked to Violet Blue’s column about the burgeoning effort to punish young people as “child pornographers” for sharing astonishingly tame semi-nude cell phone snaps with each other. Now, she’s back with news that the ACLU is beginning to get involved, suing one of the DAs in question for assorted violations of the teens’ civil rights.

This can only be a positive development; nothing ruins an over-assertive prosecutor’s grandstanding fun like having to defend or settle a budget-busting civil rights lawsuit.
