There has always been a tension. Good men want to be perfect gentlemen whose courtship practices never make a lady uncomfortable. But, in the absence of telepathy, this sometimes results in frustration, when the courted party wishes that “the moves” would come a little faster:
The solution, as with so many interpersonal problems, lies in better communication. But that’s much easier to say than it is to put into practice.

Lol this used to be me when I was a little younger.
I think this used to be a lot of us.
I’m sure that I was like that too, when I was young. I once went for a walk with a girl from my school and it was only later that I realised that I had been invited to go a bit further.
It can be a problem.

I often wondered how they got from the tabl to the bed. Surely, he couldn’t jjust say “You’ve had your dinner – now get your clothes off”.
I don’t know what went wrong with the spacing of the limerick, sorry.
if I were the man in this situation, I wouldn’t want her to take her clothes off; I would want to do that. :-)
